Cask’s mission is to provide simple access to powerful technology. Our goal is to enable every developer and business to be able to quickly and easily build and run modern data platforms and applications using open source big data technologies like Hadoop. We develop an open source platform and collection of projects to simplify the increasingly complex ecosystem of open source technologies and accelerate time-to-value on big data.
Cask has created a number of open source projects with support from the developer community. We strive to support the community with easy access to resources such as documentation and online support for all of the projects below.
The Cask Data Application Platform (CDAP) is an open source integrated platform for developers and organizations to build, deploy, and manage data applications.cdap.io
Cask Coopr is an open source template-based cluster management solution that provisions, manages, and scales clusters for multi-tiered applications stacks on public and private clouds.coopr.io
Cask Tigon is an open source real-time stream processing framework built on top of Apache Hadoop and Apache HBase, built by Cask in collaboration with AT&T Labs. Tigon leverages open source projects Tephra and Apache Twill and provides a tight integration with your existing Hadoop/HBase cluster.tigon.io
Apache Tephra provides globally consistent transactions on top of Apache HBase.tephra.incubator.apache.org
Join the Big Data Application Meetup group, where we learn how to apply big data technologies to solve real world problems. A rapidly growing group with a new meetup every 6 weeks!
Please contact the organizer with any interest in hosting an upcoming meetup.
